Daniele Bendanti, born in 1981, is a “bolognese doc”. He undertook the hospitality institute diploma in Castel S. Pietro Terme and began his career by working as a bartender and assistant cook.

The real turning point happened during his journey to Alma: the famous international cooking school brought him to Montecchio Precalcino at La Locanda di Vicenza Piero. After that experience, the young chef arrived at starred Antica Locanda del Sole, becoming the kitchen commis of chef Marcello Leoni.

At 26 years old he became the sous chef of Arnolfo, the 2-star Michelin of Colle Val D'Elsa and extended his resume at the 5 star Palace hotel, located in the province of Ravenna, and in the kitchen of Cesare Marretti’s restaurant.

A very important step of his career was collaborating at Zaranda in Madrid with the starred chef Fernando Areljano; once back in Bologna, he became the second chef of the Battibecco restaurant and, finally, has obtained great results as the first chef at Osteria Bottega with Daniele Minarelli.
